Dear Luv,

Wow, that threw me for a loop!  woah. Hecklers huh?  Hmmm, try smiling? You know--kill 'em with kindness.  No?  Nah, I would have to take the situation as it is.  Heckler?  Who would heckle crochet?  I'm stuck at this chain.  Hecklers?  Are we on stage?  All the world is your stage, huh, well then, I guess so.

Let me engage you in a recent "altercation" I noticed with Gina Renay.  You see I was stalking, er watching Ms. Renay from afar--she's an interesting stitch. Someone commented that they preferred one of her outfits over another.  Gina was momentarily thrown herself, *GASP* but quickly recovered by mentioning she'll be back--not quite an Arnold Schwaranegger's accent.  Two minutes later, she walked up to the person and said:  (this is good; stay with me):

All of my designs are originals, youniquely inspired.  Younique--that's y-o-u-nique, meaning I can create what you can imagine.  No, you didn't hear me--I can create what you can imagina, that is ima G-I-N-A.  Care to place an order?

Girl, er Luv, I was floored!  Go Girl.  I see Gina didn't suffer from esprit d'escalier, which is thinking of a witty remark too late. 

Luv, breathe deeply, stand tall,  look them in the face and never let 'em see you sweat.  Crochet always looks awesome Fresh! and off the spontaneous hook!

I just had to finish this awed crochet wrap this morning before work--only took about, hmmmm, I'd say (tho I wasn't truly counting the minutes; glad I wasn't late, ha)--30 minutes....

I rec'd alot of attention and compliments on this piece--it helps being 6 feet tall in heels too, smile.  This 86 year old hooker (crocheter to you, dear) isn't slowing down at all.  Well, my teeth are in--oh yeah, almost left home without them.  Now, that wouldn't have been pleasant! Especially talking Chinese with folks today....

I realized instead of struggling to remember a word or phrase just to ask them in Chinese (zhenma shou?) and then insert it.  Well, I did that today--felt good plus surprised them.  Hmmmm, I wonder where Chinatown is?  I'll try to blend in....NOT

There was a very tall Afro-American actress--oh yeah, Tamara Dobson or is it Johnson--who stood 6'2" tall whooping guys in kung fu.  Can I try out my Hook Kung Fu--I hear it's a slayer. She starred in Cleopratra Jones.  Ooooh, girlfriend was fierce!  Here's this extremely tall, gorgeous, fashionable woman who can kick butt.  Excuse me, but I'd know to leave her alone as soon as I set eyes on her. (well, I don't bother folks anyway)

I've been having such interesting days but I don't blog about them. I guess because when I get home, I'm exhausted.  I am not use to my time not being my own.  I enjoy working for myself...alas we must do what we got to do for now.  Yet, I am glad I still find time to design clothing. 

Speaking of which, the most recent exhibit of the Creative Crochet Club Online is up. 

I'll get my crochet flow going with keeping my exhibit post dates but for now I'm faltering.  You'd think I dropped a stitch or something, GASP!

This recent design is entitled Wow Girl Peace.  There is an optional crochet flower that has the wording "wow girl peace"....oh no brainer.  Basically I am at peace with the works of my hands--awed even.  You know:  awed by the intermarriage or Hook & Yarn to produce such lovely prodigy....aaaahhhh proud mommy--dem's my babies!
